DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1: WELCOME AT THE AIRPORT (-/-/-)
Arrive in Maun, Botswana, a charming village serving as the gateway to safaris in Southern Africa. The Kalahari Breeze Safaris team will warmly welcome you at the airport. Spend the day exploring the town at your leisure. Accommodation will be provided in a budget-midrange lodge, with options for upgrades available.
DAY 2: IN THE CHANNELS OF THE OKAVANGO DELTA (B/L/-)
Early morning pickup from your lodge or the airport marks the start of your adventure. The tour begins with a 1-hour speedboat cruise to the Buffalo Fence (or via 4×4, depending on conditions). Meet your poler, who will guide you through the enchanting channels of the Okavango Delta. Enjoy a peaceful mokoro ride before arriving at your island camp for lunch. Afterward, participate in an afternoon nature walk to learn about the local flora, fauna, and tribes. Dinner will be served back at camp, where you’ll share stories around the campfire.
DAY 3: EXPLORING THE ISLANDS OF THE OKAVANGO DELTA (B/L/D)
Experience a full day immersed in the beauty of the Okavango. Begin with a light breakfast and a morning game-viewing activity, followed by brunch upon returning to camp. Enjoy an afternoon of guided bush walks and canoe excursions. Relish delicious meals prepared by your bush chef, and end the day sharing stories by the campfire before settling into your comfortable tent amidst the sounds of the wilderness.
DAY 4: LEAVING THE OKAVANGO DELTA (B/L/-)
After one last canoe tour and bush walk, return to Maun for lunch by the riverside. Arrive back in Maun before sunset.
DAY 5: INTO THE WILD OF MOREMI GAME RESERVE (B/L/D)
Your guide will greet you for an early morning pickup in Maun. Travel to Moremi Game Reserve in a 4×4 open-sided safari vehicle, spending the day exploring its varied landscapes, including floodplains, lagoons, and forests. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and arrive at your camp in the evening, where you can enjoy a bush shower and a delicious dinner around the campfire.
DAY 6: WILDLIFE TRACKING IN MOREMI (B/L/D)
Wake up early for a game drive when predators are most active. Return to camp for brunch, then head out for another game drive as the animals emerge from their hiding places. Evening activities include dinner and storytelling by the campfire, experiencing the tranquil atmosphere of the bush at night.
DAY 7: FROM BUSH TO SAVANNAH (B/L/D)
Travel from Moremi to Savute National Park. Enjoy breakfast while your team breaks down camp, then set off on a scenic drive. Stop for a picnic lunch and siesta in the Khwai Concession before continuing to Savute. Your team will set up camp, and you can freshen up before enjoying dinner and the sounds of nature around the campfire.
DAY 8: CLOSE-UP WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS IN SAVUTE (B/L/D)
Another early morning begins with breakfast before heading out for a game drive. Return for a bush shower and brunch, then set out for a second game drive in the afternoon. Evening activities consist of dinner and sharing stories around the campfire, creating unforgettable memories under the stars.
DAY 9: SAVANNAH TO RIVERFRONT (B/L/-)
Awaken once again to a warm “Dumela” and enjoy breakfast before the scenic drive to Chobe Riverfront. Lunch will be a picnic en route. Arrive in Kasane around lunchtime, where you’ll check in to a budget-midrange lodge. After a brief refresh, embark on a 3-hour boating safari in the Chobe River.
DAY 10: VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE (B/-/-)
Transfer to Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. After breakfast, journey by road across the border, which takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk through the Victoria Falls rainforest, followed by a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Additional activities can be arranged for an extra cost. Overnight accommodation options include bedded tents or chalets, with upgrades available.
DAY 11: DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
After breakfast, transfer to Victoria Falls Airport (Zimbabwe) or Livingstone Airport (Zambia) for your departure.
