DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1: VICTORIA FALLS TO ELEPHANT SANDS (-/-/D)
Arrive at Victoria Falls, Livingstone, or Kasane, where your safari adventure begins. After a 4-6 hour drive, arrive at Elephant Sands, where you can observe herds of elephants and other wildlife up close at the waterhole. Relax and enjoy dinner by the campfire.
DAY 2: SLEEPING UNDER THE STARS AT MAKGADIKGADI SALT PANS (B/-/D)
Begin your day with a guided bush walk or game drive in Elephant Sands Game Reserve. After breakfast, continue to Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, where you’ll spend the night under the stars. Enjoy a candlelit dinner and marvel at the African night sky, known for its stunning views of the Milky Way.
DAY 3: GAME VIEWING IN MAKGADIKGADI NATIONAL PARK (B/-/D)
Leave the salt pans after breakfast and head to Makgadikgadi National Park. The wilderness camp will be set up for you, and you’ll spend the day on game drives, followed by dinner and storytelling around the campfire.
DAY 4: UP-CLOSE WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS IN MAKGADIKGADI (B/L/D)
Start with an early morning game drive, the best time to see predators on the hunt. Spend the day exploring the wildlife along the Boteti River, with brunch back at camp. Return to camp for an evening around the fire and an overnight stay in the bush.
DAY 5: INTO THE OKAVANGO DELTA (B/L/D)
After a morning game drive, transfer to the Okavango Delta. Begin with a speedboat cruise or 4×4 journey to meet your poler, who will guide you through the delta’s channels by mokoro. Spend the night in a bush camp on an island, sharing stories by the fire.
DAY 6: EXPLORING THE OKAVANGO DELTA (B/L/D)
Spend the day exploring the delta by mokoro and on foot, led by your guide. Learn about the delta’s wildlife, plants, and local tribes. Enjoy meals at camp, and relax in the peaceful surroundings of the Okavango.
DAY 7: RETURN TO MAUN (B/L/-)
After a final mokoro tour and bush walk, return to Maun in the afternoon. Overnight accommodations are in a double room at a local lodge.
DAY 8: INTO THE WILD OF MOREMI GAME RESERVE (B/L/D)
Depart Maun for Moremi Game Reserve in a 4×4 safari vehicle. Spend the day exploring the diverse landscapes, from wetlands to forests, with a picnic lunch in the bush. After a day of game viewing, return to your camp for dinner and a night under the stars.
DAY 9: TRACKING WILDLIFE IN MOREMI (B/L/D)
Embark on an early morning game drive to spot predators on the prowl. After brunch, continue your wildlife exploration in Moremi before returning to camp for dinner and an evening around the fire.
DAY 10: CROSSING TO SAVUTE (B/L/D)
Leave Moremi and journey across the park to Savute National Park. Stop for a picnic in the Mababe Depression area before reaching Savute, where your camp will be set up. Enjoy dinner and relax by the campfire.
DAY 11: GAME VIEWING IN SAVUTE (B/L/D)
Spend the day exploring Savute, known for its impressive wildlife. After morning and afternoon game drives, return to camp for dinner and storytelling around the fire.
DAY 12: SAVUTE TO CHOBE RIVERFRONT (B/L/-)
Transfer to Chobe Riverfront, stopping for a picnic lunch along the way. Upon arrival in Kasane, check into a lodge, refresh, and enjoy a 3-hour boating safari on the Chobe River, famous for its elephant population.
DAY 13: EXPLORE VICTORIA FALLS (B/-/-)
After breakfast, transfer to Victoria Falls. Spend the day exploring the falls on a guided tour, followed by a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Overnight accommodations are in a double room at a local lodge.
DAY 14: DEPARTURE (B/-/-)
Transfer to Victoria Falls or Livingstone Airport for your departure, concluding your Botswana wilderness adventure.
