DETAILED ITINERARY
DAY 1: MOREMI GAME RESERVE (-/L/D)
Your adventure begins early in the morning, with pick-up between 05:00 and 06:00 from your hotel, lodge, or the airport in Maun. Meet your highly trained and experienced guide, who will lead you through the rich wildlife and stunning landscapes over the next two days.
Travel in a 4×4 open-sided safari vehicle to Moremi Game Reserve, where you’ll spend the day exploring its varied terrain, including floodplains, lagoons, grasslands, and riverine forests. This captivating landscape makes navigating Moremi’s many loops and trails both delightful and inspiring. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your game drives, eventually making your way to the Khwai Concession.
Arrive at your camp in Khwai before sunset, where you can enjoy a refreshing bush shower. As the day concludes, savor a delicious dinner cooked over the campfire while sharing stories and experiences from your adventure.
DAY 2: EASTERN OKAVANGO DELTA & KHWAI CONCESSION (B/L/-)
Awaken to a warm “dumela” (Setswana for “hello”) and the enticing aroma of coffee. After breakfast, embark on an exciting excursion into the channels of the Eastern Okavango Delta in a mokoro, a traditional one-tree canoe. Your guide and polers will reveal the stunning beauty of the water channels as you glide through the serene waters.
After the mokoro excursion, return to your campsite for a light lunch. The safari continues with game drives in the Khwai Concession, known for its abundant wildlife. In the late afternoon or early evening, return to Maun, filled with unforgettable memories and plenty of photos to cherish.
